The overlay of a cabinet door refers to how the door is positioned in relation to the front of the cabinet casing. This positioning influences the cabinet’s overall appearance, functionality, and the space required for installation. For our closet system, we offer two options: half-overlay and inset.

Half-overlay (also known as partial-overlay) features doors and drawers that cover only part of the cabinet face frame, leaving some of the frame visible around the edges. This creates a more traditional look with subtle visual framing.
